MiCT worked closely with four female-led civil society organizations and produced radio programs tackling gender-related topics in Iraq. The radio shows aired from February – September 2021 in different parts of the country including Anbar, Baghdad, Diwaniyah, and Basra.

Financed by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH behalf of the German government, each radio program aimed to break-down gender stereotypes and start an open and transparent discussion of women’s topics in the four southern regions.
