Audience Research

Project:

Kabul-based media company and smaller, regional radio stations conduct audience research that will eventually help local media with long term sustainability.

As a result of workshops held in February 2013, MICT has led three different projects researching audiences in Afghanistan.  Kabul company, Afghan Media Productions, is evaluating educational programming formats and two smaller radio broadcasters, Radio Rabia Balkhi in Mazar and Radio Abaceen in Nangarhar, are conducting surveys on a local level. Results of the research were available in April 2014.
